What is a Homemaking?

According to Wikipedia; Homemaking is mainly an American and Canadian term for the management of a home, otherwise known as housework, housekeeping, housewifery or household management. It is the act of overseeing the organizational, day-to-day operations of a house or estate, and the managing of other domestic concerns. A person in charge of the homemaking, who is not employed outside the home, in the US and Canada, is called a homemaker, a term for a housewife or a stay-at-home- mom. 

What is a Homemaker?

A housewife can be a full-time job; it is not required for everyone, but it is a dedicated career that requires all of our time and effort, so I encourage women to become full-time homemakers. 

What Do Homemakers Do?

Homemakers do a lot. Was your mother a housewife or a stay-at-home mom? Did you watch her do everything in the house to feed, clothe, and keep the family happy? Some of the homemaker’s jobs include: 

1. Creating schedules and routines

2. Meal planning

3. Cleaning

4. Cooking

5. Baking

6. Decluttering and organizing

7. Caring for children

8. Shopping for groceries

9. Food preservation

10. Managing the home finances

The list goes on and on and on. Household life is made up of so many things.
