Kitchen Sink Styling

I enjoy decorating every space in my home and the kitchen sink is no exception.  Many families, particularly Ghanaian homes, do not have the time to decorate this space. However, beautifying the space around the kitchen sink can improve the overall appearance of your kitchen while also making it more useful.  

1. First and foremost, say goodbye to your ordinary soap bottles and replace them with a stylish soap dispenser that matches your kitchen decor.  

2. Add Plant. I use a lovely glass pot for my aloe vera plant. Add a little plant or herb into the sink area. It gives a touch of greenery and can be useful if you choose a herb you use in the kitchen. You could also use artificial flowers in a decorative pot instead of plants and herbs.  

3. Decorative tray, to maintain an orderly and attractive space, place a stylish tray under your sponge and soap dispenser. I recommend a wooden tray.  

4. For personal touches, Place a framed photo (I used a framed wooden photo of my mother) or piece of art nearby the window or wall to bring uniqueness and warmth to the kitchen.
